2019 Motion Graphics Reel

Motion graphics work created for various commercial clients ( GE, Amazon, Lowe's, and The Home Depot) and independent film. The work was created using the Adobe Creative Suite and Cinema 4D.

This spot was created for Jasco Products for their T-Tech by Tumi line. We used a combination of live action footage (shot by Christi McGahan) and CGI. I modeled and textured the headphones in Cinema 4D and composited them in After Effects. The most challenging aspect of this spot was the leather pads on the ear pieces. At the time, I was using R13 Broadcast and didn't have any sculpting tools. So, I manually moved a lot of geometry around to achieve the creases and folds. Needless to say, I've since upgraded to R16 studio which I'm hoping will make stuff like that a little easier!

This was a challenge. How do you make an HDMI cable engaging? You guessed it flashy 3D graphics in space! This spot was created and edited by me using Cinema 4D and After Effects.

This is some of my first work in Cinema 4D. There were a lot of experimentation and learning going on in this piece. From tests with Global illumination and particles, to basic animation. It was attempted here. The paper elements were created in Illustrator and textured with different hues of construction paper. Those elements were composited with the 3D renders in After Effects.

This what happens when you end up watching too many horror movies. I created this as an experiment using audio and stills to create an eerie atmosphere. I suggest viewing this with the lights off and a good set of headphones.

Standard definition video. Its crazy to think I started in this business long enough ago to see the analog to digital transition. I feel as though I've come a long way since this reel.

I created this spot in 2009 with Skyline Media Group. They provided the video content and I designed and animated the spot. I wanted the graphics to have a high energy feel.
